Fall Baseball and Fall Softball Info
FALL Baseball
The Orefield Athletic Association will be participating in the Central Whitehall/Allen Township Baseball League this fall,2010, in the following divisions:
Biddy birthdates- 8/1/99- 7/31/02 cannot turn 11 before 8/1/10
Midget birthdates- 8/1/97- 7/31/99 cannot turn 13 before 8/1/10
Knee-Hi birthdates- 8/1/94- 7/31/97 cannot turn 16 before 8/1/10
The registration process starts on May 1st and will run through the end of May. This initial month of registration is for current players within the OAA baseball program (i.e. those participating with us in Spring 2010) as well as players that played with OAA during the FALL 2009 season. The number of teams per division will be determined based on the number of players registered by our deadline, coach volunteers, and field availability. Teams will be filled on a first come first served basis according to the postmark date of the players’ registration forms. Please send them in as soon as possible via the mail. For this reason, REGISTRATION FORMS CANNOT BE ACCEPTED BY COACHES OR AT THE SNACK BAR! Please note: registration forms received after May 31st will be accepted but only on a first come- first served basis and then only used to fill out teams where needed. If your child is not able to be placed on a team, the registration fee will be returned to you. We will NOT accept late registrations.
On June 1- June 15th additional registrations will be accepted from both current OAA players as well as boys outside our organization who want an opportunity to play with us in the fall, as rosters allow, again, first-come - first served based on postmark. FALL Softball
The Orefield Athletic Association will be participating in the Parkland Fall Softball League this fall, 2010, in the following divisions:
10 & under – ages 9, 10 birthdates between 1/1/00-12/31/01
12 & under- ages 11, 12 birthdates between 1/1/98-12/31/99
The registration process starts on June 1st and will run through June15th. This initial period of registration is for current players within the OAA softball program (i.e. those participating with us for the spring as well as players that played for O.A.A. during the fall 2009 season). The number of teams will be determined based on the number of players registered by our deadline, as well as coach volunteers. Teams will be filled on a first come first served basis according to the postmark date of the players’ registration forms. For this reason, REGISTRATION FORMS CANNOT BE ACCEPTED BY COACHES OR AT THE SNACK BAR!Please send them in as soon as possible via the mail.
